If you're experiencing issues with push notifications not working on your device, there are several troubleshooting steps you can follow to resolve the problem. Here are some general steps you can take:
Check your internet connection: Ensure that your device is connected to the internet, as push notifications require an active internet connection to function properly.
Verify notification settings: Make sure that the push notification settings are enabled for the Crystal Water Monitor app. First, open the Crystal Water Monitor app and open Account Settings from the main menu.
Scroll to the bottom of Account Settings and check the Notifications section. If the Notifications section has an Enable button, click the button to enable push notifications. If the Notifications section says Denied, open your device's system settings and allow Crystal Water Monitor to send push notifications. If the notifications section says Enabled, tap the enabled row and then tap Test Push Notifications. Next, tap the Send Test Notification button. You should receive a push notification and the test push notifications screen should say 'Congrats!'. If the test push notification worked your push notifications are working fine and you should wait for your next action notification.
If you did not receive the test push notification, go to the application settings on your device and ensure that notifications are enabled for the Crystal Water Monitor app.
Restart the device: Sometimes, a simple device restart can resolve temporary issues. Restart your device and check if push notifications start working again.
Check battery optimization settings: On some devices, aggressive battery optimization settings can prevent apps from receiving push notifications. Review the battery optimization settings on your device and make sure the relevant app is not restricted or excessively optimized.
Disable Do Not Disturb mode: If your device is in Do Not Disturb mode, it may silence or block notifications. Disable Do Not Disturb mode or adjust its settings to allow notifications.
