Draining and refilling your hot tub is an important aspect of hot tub ownership. Many hot tubs need to be drained and refilled every three to four months due to chemical build up. When it's time to do your drain and refill, the Crystal Water Monitor Service wants to know so your water chemistry measurements can be reset to properly reflect the new water you've put in. To Record a Refill, please go to your Pool or Hot Tub Settings, scroll down to Drain and Refill and tap on Record Refill
After you tap on the "Record a Refill" button, you will then be asked to verify your actions. Remember, this will remove all current actions you have on your vessel and the monitor will re-acclimate to your current water chemistry.
Note: This also occurs for those pool owners who need to partially drain and refill their pool due to high levels of Cyanuric Acid, replacing your pool liner or other extreme environments that require draining.
